Another Battle of the Books book. It was very silly. A mystery story about two alligators who go undercover to solve what ends up being multiple crimes, this tale is both simple and in-depth. It relies on a LOT of puns and wordplay which is great but hard for those who are not well-versed in English, especially when they are audio-puns. It's whimsical and fun and even throws in a bit of a tragic backstory for one of the characters. Not to mention, it has a very strange element of lore to it that I was not expecting. I can't say I will follow more of the adventures of Mango and Brash (the gators) but for a required read, it wasn't bad. Besides, it's not meant for someone my age, so I have to take that into account.
