This was a bit of a palate cleanser. A little middle grade fiction with a spooky theme. It is October, after all. I really had fun with this one. It tripped along quickly as one might expect middle grade to do. Russell has a lovable protagonist in Mystery James and her fearful sidekick. She's an unusual girl who loves creepy-crawlies, lives in a funeral home, and doesn't know who she is. Her exploration of identity sets off a series of events (hence the title). It's a fun, easy read and I would definitely recommend it to others who enjoy a light, yet dark, tale.
